How-To: Make a Moodle course visible to students - Faculty

By default, Moodle courses are hidden from anyone other than the teaching faculty. The purpose of this default is to provide faculty with the ability to build the course content privately before students have access. When the course is ready for use, the faculty member uses the following steps to make the course visible to the students.

1. Launch Moodle (https://moodle.davidson.edu) and open your course.
2. From the course menu bar, select Settings
3. In the General section of the settings, click the Course visibility menu and select Show.
4. Scroll to the end of the page and click Save and display.
