Install Cisco Jabber - Employees

Zoom Phone will replace Cisco as Davidson's telephone provider on June 30, 2022. On this date, all Davidson faculty and staff with college phone numbers will begin using Zoom Phone to make and receive phone calls. For questions about the Zoom Phone transition, please email ti@davidson.edu.

Install Cisco Jabber on a Windows Computer

  1. Click on the Windows Start button in the lower left corner of the desktop.
  2. Type software center and Windows will automatically begin searching your hard drive.
  3. In the search results, click on the Software Center app.
  4. In the panel along the left edge of the Software Center window, make sure Applications is selected.
  5. Click on the Jabber icon.
  6. Click on the Install button.

Install Cisco Jabber on a macOS Computer

  1. Click on the Spotlight icon (tiny magnifying glass) in the upper right corner of your screen.
  2. In the Search field, type self service and press the enter key.
  3. In the Categories frame to the right of the Self Service window, click on Apps.
  4. Click on the word INSTALL under the large Cisco Jabber icon to launch the installation.
  5. Follow the installation instructions on the screen, providing your Davidson email address and password when prompted.
