Restore Missing Folders and Files in Google Drive - Faculty and Staff

Deleted files in your Davidson Google Drive account can be recovered for up to 25 days. 

Restore a Deleted Folder or File on the Web

  1. Sign in to with your Davidson credentials.
  2. Select Trash in the menu on the left.
  3. Right or two-finger click the item you would like to recover and select Restore.

Note: Google drive also allows you to restore items deleted by you or your colleagues that existed within a Shared Drive. Near the top of the screen, under the search bar, click on the drop down next to "My drive" and select the appropriate shared drive. Here, you'll find recently deleted items within the shared drive. 


If the folder or file you're looking for is not in the trash, try searching for it using the search bar.
