Touch ID for Duo

Touch ID can be used in place of a traditional Duo push while on Chrome for Mac OS, but it requires additional setup. Before Touch ID can be added to your Duo account, you must contact T&I at and request that your account be enabled. 

Once you receive confirmation that your account is ready, please follow these steps to finish the set up: 

  1. Open an incognito/private browsing tab (How Do I Open a Private Browsing or Incognito Window)
  2. Navigate to and enter your email/password. Do not approve Duo!
  3. At the bottom of the Duo prompt, select "Other options"
  4. Select "Manage Devices" from the bottom of the list
  5. Verify your identity with Duo push
  6. Once in the dashboard, select "Add a device" and then "Touch ID


Once your account has been enabled by T&I, you will have two days to complete this process. After that, your access to the "Manage Devices" tab will be revoked.
