Validate Your SSAFER Communication Devices

The SSAFER program alerts students, faculty, and staff to emergencies and provides safety instructions via text messages, emails, voice messages, and live-spoken instructions. These instructions on validation are for faculty, staff and students at Davidson College.

As part of Davidson’s community, you are enrolled in Davidson’s Emergency Notification & Criminal Alert program SSAFER. The SSAFER program uses a layered notification approach to alert students, faculty, and staff to emergencies and provides safety instructions via text messages, emails, voice messages, and live-spoken instructions.

You can receive SSAFER notifications through text, email, and voice mail. If you are not receiving communications through one of your devices you will have to validate that device. You can validate your devices through the Omnilert Subscriber Portal or reply to the validation email and text message sent by Omnilert.

How To Validate Your Devices
