Using Duo Mobile
You can authenticate on your mobile device using the Duo Mobile app. There are two Duo Mobile authentication methods:
- Duo Push - If you choose this option, you will receive a push notification on your mobile device. You must choose Accept in your Duo Mobile app to approve authentication. More detailed instructions .
- Duo passcode - If you don’t have access to service or internet connection, this is the option you should use. Click the key icon next to your Davidson College account in the Duo Mobile app to generate a one-time code. More detailed instructions .
Using a provided Duo token
If you cannot or will not use your mobile device to authenticate, the T&I Support Center can provide you with a Duo token. You will press a button on the token to generate a passcode that you can then enter in the portal. More detailed instructions .
Using a personal hardware token
If you have your own hardware token that you use to authenticate into other services (ex: YubiKey), you can also use this token for Duo. Usually, you will authenticate by inserting the token into your USB port. More detailed instructions .
