OnBase can be integrated with Microsoft Outlook 2016 in Windows. Note: To install the OnBase Outlook add-in, you must be:
- On campus connected to the Davidson network via a wired connection; or,
- On campus connected to the eduroam wireless networks; or,
- Off campus connected to the Davidson network via VPN.
Uninstall Microsoft Office 365
- Exit Microsoft Outlook.
- Click on the Windows Start button in the lower left corner of the Windows desktop.
- Start typing add or remove programs until that. option shows up. Select it.
- Select the current version of Microsoft Office 365 installed on your computer and click Uninstall. On many Davidson computers, the version to uninstall will be named Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus.
- Once Microsoft Office has been uninstalled, it is recommended that you restart your computer.
Install Microsoft Office 2016
- When you have logged back into Windows, click on the Windows Start button in the lower left corner of the Windows desktop.
- Type software center and Windows will automatically begin searching your hard drive.
- In the search results, click on the Software Center app.
- In the left panel, click on Applications.
- Click on the large MS Office ProPlus 2016 for OnBase icon to launch the installation.
- Once Microsoft Office has been installed, it is recommended that you restart your computer.
Install the OnBase Outlook 2016 Integration
- When you have logged back into Windows, click on the Windows Start button in the lower left corner of the Windows desktop.
- Type software center and Windows will automatically begin searching your hard drive.
- In the search results, click on the Software Center app.
- In the left panel, click on Applications.
- Click on the large OnBase Outlook 2016 Integration icon to launch the installation.
- Click on the Install button.
- Once installation is complete, it is recommended that you restart your computer.
- Open Outlook and you will see the OnBase menu option.
