Share an Outlook Calendar in Windows

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
  2. In the lower left corner of the screen, click on the Calendar icon Outlook_2016_calendar_icon.JPG.
  3. In the frame along the left side of your screen, right-click on the name of the calendar you would like to share. For example, in the My Calendars group, you might click on the calendar named Calendar.
  4. In the resulting pop-up dialog box, select Share >Calendar Permissions.
  5. On the Calendar Properties dialog box:
    • On the Add Users dialog box, use the search functionality to locate the user in the list and select that user.
    • Click on the Add button to finalize the selection.
    • Click OK.
    • Set permissions you would like the user to have.
  6. Click on the OK button to finalize the process.

Share an Outlook Calendar in macOS

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
  2. In the lower left corner of the screen, click on the Calendar icon Outlook_2016_calendar_icon.JPG.
  3. In the frame along the left side of your screen, right-click on the name of the calendar you would like to share. For example, in the My Calendars group, you might click on the calendar named Calendar.
  4. In the resulting pop-up dialog box, select Share > Calendar Permissions.
  5. On the Calendar Properties dialog box:
    • Click on the + button.
    • On the Add Users dialog box, use the search functionality to locate the user in the list and select that user.
    • Choose the permissions you would like to grant that person.
    • Click on the Add button to finalize the selection.
  6. Click on the Done button to finalize the process.
