Wordpress is one the most popular applications on the internet. As a Content Management System (CMS) you can set up a website, blog, e-shop, and a lot more. Setting up a WordPress site on your (sub)domain takes very little time and you do not need any specific skills.
Installing Wordpress is a simple procedure, but you should pay attention to the following steps:
Click the WordPress Icon
After you are logged into your Davidson Domains account, you will find WordPress under the Applications tab in your account. Click on the Wordpress Icon.
Choose an installation location
This is very important. Make sure you choose the correct domain that you want to install WordPress on. Our default is to install it on the top domain, so you should click location and choose which subdomain you want to install on.
While you may be tempted to change your administrator settings, we suggest you leave them as the defaults they are set to. We say this because you will always only login to domains.davidson.edu and you will be able to access all of your domains from there.
