Email and Office 365 applications
Good news! Although you are graduating, your current Davidson College email and Office 365 apps will remain active until July 1, 2021. This means you will have access to your email, calendars, contacts and Office 365 applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You can continue to access your email in the same way as when you were a student, via your smartphone/tablet, the Outlook desktop app or outlook.davidson.edu.
After July 1, 2021, you will no longer have access to your Davidson College email, Office 365 applications or any college resources associated with your account. It is important that you update all applications associated with your Davidson College email address to a personal email address prior to account expiration.
Email and Office 365 Applications
You can continue to access your Davidson College email and Office 365 applications until your Davidson College email account expires, July 1, 2021.
Before your Davidson College email expires: Forward, move or export any Davidson College Outlook emails you want to retain to a personal email account of your choice. Review this article outlining the process to export and import Outlook email.
After your Davidson College email expires: Remove or uninstall Davidson College Office 365 applications from your personal devices.

Duo
You will continue to use Duo to access applications that require two-factor authentication until your email account expires on July 1, 2021.
What if I get a new phone? No problem, just contact T&I at ti@davidson.edu or call 704-894-2900 and we will assist you with Duo activation on your new device. For security purposes, T&I will verify your identity as part of this process.
Dropbox
On June 30, 2020, T&I will convert your Davidson College Dropbox account to a free Dropbox account using your Davidson email address. Free accounts are limited to 2GB of storage. If you need more storage, you’ll have to upgrade to a paid account or move the files to another cloud storage account. If you choose not to upgrade, your files will remain intact; however, file access will be limited to read-only and you won’t have the option to add any new files.
Once converted, your Dropbox account is no longer accessible using single sign-on. As a result, you will need to change your Dropbox password. Go to dropbox.com from any web browser, enter your Davidson College email address, then choose forgot password. This will generate a password reset link sent to your Davidson College email account. Follow the steps to create a new password and log in. Please note, your Davidson College email is not impacted by this change.
Although you can continue to access the free Dropbox account until your Davidson College email account expires, July 1, 2021, we recommend creating a personal email account (or choose an existing one) to link with your free Dropbox account in order to continue access to your files. This article provides details on how to move Dropbox files from your school account to your personal account.
