This Knowledge Base article details the purchasing standards for the varying computer types and brands used on the Davidson College campus. A computer consultation is the first step in the process and we will meet with you to discuss your needs. We will then propose a machine and negotiate any additional requests. For those users that have needs beyond the standard configurations, allowances will be made in the consultation and proposal process. Department funds can be used to further upgrade devices.
