Google Drive replaced Dropbox as Davidson’s primary cloud storage and file sharing solution on December 13, 2021. All files and folders from Davidson-owned personal and departmental Dropbox folders have now been migrated to Google Drive. For more information, visit the project support page.
What is the media drive?
The media drive is a hard drive located on campus used for storing larger media files (e.g., video, audio, animation, and other Adobe projects).
Why use the media drive?
The media drive was created to eliminate the constant uploading and downloading of media files to the cloud (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.) as well as the re-linking of media files when working on a media project.
Where can I use the media drive?
You can use the media drive from all Davidson College computers or any computer connected to the eduroam wireless network. We recommend using the Media Lab computers or the computers in the language lab after 5pm (both are located in the basement of Chambers).
