Starting on March 20, Davidson's User Success Team will transition to full remote support. We have made hardware available behind card access in Chambers 3130 (for students) and 3146 (for Faculty and Staff). The process of requesting and picking up a machine is outlined below.
Please follow the steps closely to ensure your machine works as expected.
Contact T&I at email@example.com or 704-894-2900. We will ask you a few questions about your need to help determine the right machine based on available inventory.
We will then start preparing everything for you including: assigning you an asset, ensuring your card access to the space and making you an administrator on the computer.
Swipe in to the right room in Chambers (Remember, 3130 for students and 3146 for Faculty/Staff) and find your machine on the desks in the room. The machines on the floor are not ready for use. We assigned you a tag number and it is on the stand of the iMac or the bottom of the laptop. It is very important you take the right machine so that it works as expected.
Sign in to your assigned machine with you Davidson username (the part before the @davidson.edu) and current password (If you are unable to sign in, please call 704-894-2900 before taking your device).
Shut down the machine, unplug the power cord, keyboard and mouse and take them with you!
