Technology and Innovation develops and publishes software standards for the campus community and provides support for standard software, including consultations, troubleshooting, documentation and training, when appropriate. As T&I plans and develops new services, we assume that computers will use the standard software. When problems occur with software or a network service other than a campus standard, our staff will make an initial best-guess effort for troubleshooting and correction. When campus standard software is used with a non-standard operating system, it is not treated as standard software. Note: There are some unsupported combinations of standard hardware and software because some combinations do not operate well together.
In addition to the software standards listed below, if required, other campus provided software can be installed using our software deployment application. A list of software available for installation on your college managed devices can be found using Software Center (Windows) or Self-Service (Mac).
