Software Standards - College Managed Devices

Technology and Innovation develops and publishes software standards for the campus community and provides support for standard software, including consultations, troubleshooting, documentation and training, when appropriate.  As T&I plans and develops new services, we assume that computers will use the standard software. When problems occur with software or a network service other than a campus standard, our staff will make an initial best-guess effort for troubleshooting and correction. When campus standard software is used with a non-standard operating system, it is not treated as standard software. Note: There are some unsupported combinations of standard hardware and software because some combinations do not operate well together.

In addition to the software standards listed below, if required, other campus-provided software can be installed using our software deployment application. A list of software available for installation on your college-managed devices can be found using Software Center (Windows) or Self-Service (Mac).
