We are excited to announce the start of our Dropbox migration project. T&I is replacing Dropbox with Google Drive, as Davidson’s primary cloud storage and file sharing solution. The migration is scheduled to take place after commencement, 2021.
About the Project
With our Dropbox license set to expire in Spring 2021, T&I is moving forward with replacing Dropbox as Davidson’s primary cloud storage and file sharing solution. We believe that we can save the college money while maintaining and even improving the user experience. The migration will take place after commencement, in 2021.
Fall 2020 - Contract completed with Google and migration partner.
Early Spring 2021 - Test migration with select campus partners.
Early Summer 2021 - Campus migration
We've put together a list of FAQ's to get us started. We'll continue to add to this list throughout the project, providing guidance and answers to common questions.
