This article explores how to use most common Pawprint finishing options. It's important to note that different Pawprinters have different options available. These options can be seen here. One item of particular note - none of our HP printers are equipped for hole-punching. If you would like to save a new preset, please see this article.

Mac - Canon Printers
Stapling
Please note that what you see may vary by program.
- In the Printer: dropdown menu, select Pawprint Employee Advanced - Canon
- In the third dropdown menu, select Printer Features
- In the Feature Sets: dropdown menu, select Finishing
- Scroll down and ensure Staple/Eco (Staple-Free) is set to Off
- In the Hole Punch dropdown menu, select 1 Staple (Port LU/Land RU) for one staple in the top left corner
- Click Print
Hole-punching
Please note that what you see may vary by program.
- In the Printer: dropdown menu, select Pawprint Employee Advanced - Canon
- In the third dropdown menu, select Printer Features
- In the Feature Sets: dropdown menu, select Finishing
- Scroll down to the Hole Punch: dropdown menu and select 3 Holes Punch (Port L/Land U) for 3 holes punched on the left edge
- Click Print
One-sided
By default, printers are set to print double-sided. To print single-sided:
- In the Printer: dropdown menu, select Pawprint Employee Advanced - Canon
- In the third dropdown menu, select Layout
- In the Two-Sided dropdown menu, select Off for one-sided printing
- Click Print
Mac - HP Printers
Stapling
Please note that what you see may vary by program.
- In the Printer: dropdown menu, select Pawprint Employee Advanced - HP
- In the third dropdown menu, select Finishing
- In the Staple: dropdown menu, select One Staple Left Angled
- Click Print
Hole-punching is not available
Hole-punching is not available on HP printers.
One-sided
Please note that what you see may vary by program.
By default, printers are set to print double-sided. To print single-sided:
- In the Printer: dropdown menu, select Pawprint Employee Advanced - HP
- In the third dropdown menu, select Layout
- In the Two-Sided: dropdown menu, select Off
- Click Print
Windows - Canon Printers

- In the Printer dropdown menu, select Pawprint Employee Advanced - Canon
- Click Printer Properties
- In the Staple/Collate/Group(H): dropdown, select Staple + Collate
- Click OK
- Click Print
Hole-punching

- In the Printer dropdown menu, select Pawprint Employee Advanced - Canon
- Click Printer Properties
- Select the Finishing tab at the top
- In the Hole Punch: dropdown:, select 3 Holes
- Click OK
- Click Print

- In the Printer: dropdown menu, select Pawprint Employee Advanced - Canon
- Click Printer Properties
- Select the Finishing tab at the top
- In the Print Style: dropdown, select 1-sided Printer
- Click OK

- Click Printer Properties
- Select the Output tab at the top
- In the Staple: dropdown, select One Staple Left
- Click OK
- Click Print

- In the Printer: dropdown menu, select Pawprint Employee Advanced - HP

- Select the Finishing tab at the top
- Uncheck Print on both sides
- Click OK
- Click Print
