A printer preset is a group of settings may be helpful to save if you often print a variety of projects. We can save all the settings first by accessing the printing dialogue that comes up when printing any project. From here MAC and Windows Devices have slightly different procedures.
Mac
- Set the options you would like to create a preset for. For instructions on how to set your finishing options, see this article.
- In the Presets: dropdown menu, select Save Current Settings as Preset...
- Give your preset a name, select whether you would like it to be available for all printers or just the selected printer, and then click OK.
To use your preset, simply select it from the Presets: dropdown in the Print menu.
Windows
- Set the options you would like to create a preset for. For instructions on how to set your finishing options, see this article.
- While still in the Printer Properties menu, select the Basic Settings tab, and click the Add(1)... button
- Give your profile a name and click OK
To use your profile, simply select it from the Profile: dropdown in the Printer Properties menu.
