Endpoint Management Services allow T&I to monitor and support campus Windows and macOS workstations without having to walk around and sit down at each one of them whenever work is needed.
To manage Windows computers, we use Microsoft Endpoint Manager Configuration Manager, and its Software Center portal. To manage macOS computers, we use Jamf Pro and its Self Service portal.
✓ All college-owned Windows and macOS workstations should be enrolled in management
✓ Setting up new computers with necessary software and settings
✓ Resetting existing computers to a clean “new” setup
✓ Updating applications and operating systems
✓ Making new software available, via self service portals or auto-install as appropriate
✓ Enforcing security settings
