Alumni Email Accounts Closing

All Davidson alumni email accounts will be closing on August 11, 2022. This article provides information about this transition and provides steps you need to take prior to your account expiration. 

Stay Connected after August 11 with Davidson Connect

All Alumni email accounts will be decommissioned on August 11, 2022. On this date, your account will be deactivated and you will no longer have access to your Davidson College email, Office 365 applications, Google Drive, and any college resources associated with your account. This change in account availability is being made to allow for a security upgrade for our broader email system.

You can stay connected to the Davidson Community through Davidson Connect, a digital platform that includes an alumni directory, mentoring opportunities, job and internship postings, group connections, and more. You can also update your contact information through the Alumni and Family Contact Update Form.

Take Action to Keep any Content You Need

  • Export any emails you need to retain by August 10, by following these instructions from Microsoft.

  • If you have a YouTube account associated with your Davidson College alumni address, use these instructions from Google on how to download any content you would like to retain or transfer to another account.
  • Review all of your personal accounts, such as Spotify, Apple, Pandora, banking, or any other personal accounts you created using your Davidson alumni email, including use as a recovery email. Any personal accounts you've created using your Davidson alumni email need to be changed to a personal email before August 10.
