Resolving Parent Portal (Proxy) Access Problems

 

Stop Date Has Expired:

When a student sets up proxy access for someone, a stop date is set, for after their expected graduation. If graduation is delayed, the stop date may need to be extended.

Instructions to extend the stop date (must be performed by student):

  1. Log in to Banner Self-Service
  2. Select Proxy Access tab
  3. Click on Proxy Management menu
  4. Select the proxy profile and update the Stop Date to after your expected graduation

 

PIN Needs to be Reset:

If a parent doesn't remember their PIN or the PIN has expired, the student can reset it.

  1. Log in to Banner Self-Service
  2. Select Proxy Access tab
  3. Click on Proxy Management menu
  4. Select the proxy profile
  5. Click Reset PIN
