Student Color Printing

Black and white printing for students is free. Color printing for students is $.06 cents per colored side printed, deducted from the declining balance on your CatCard. If you are a student printing in color for your work-study job, learn how to charge to your department rather than your declining balance.

Make sure you have a balance available on your CatCard. If you have no declining balance, you will not be able to print in color. You can add to your declining balance at catcard.davidson.edu.

Send your job to a printer marked PawPrint Advanced. Find PawPrint color locations.

Color Printing on the New Toshiba Printers
New Toshiba printers were installed on campus in January of 2026.  All students need to reinstall color printer drivers in order to print in color on the new Toshiba printers. This process is straightforward and is the same process you used to originally install color printing when you arrived at Davidson.
